Nathalia Valdés Vergara

Originally from Santiago, Chile, Nathalia is an actress and vocalist, bachelor’s degree in Acting from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and a diploma in On-Camera Acting from Matus Actors Acting School (Chile).

She began her professional career in 2010, performing in theatre and musicals with various independent companies in Santiago (Chile), participating in:

  • Chilean classics such as:
    • “The Flower Pergola” by Isidora Aguirre
    • “La Remolienda” by Alejandro Sieveking
    • “El Tony Chico” by Luis Alberto Heiremans
  • Universal classics such as:
    • “The Merchant of Venice” by William Shakespeare
    • “The Miser” by Molière
    • “Blood wedding” by Federico García Lorca
  • Original creations:
    • “Orange Diary: Forbidden to Say Goodbye Without Saying Goodbye” by Victor González
    • “The Prince and the Pauper” by Colectivo de la Rueda
    • “An Odyssey” by Manuela Infante

Alongside acting, she developed a strong interest in opera, working as an assistant director on productions such as “Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali”, “Così fan tutte”, and “Madame Butterfly” at Teatro Municipal de Las Condes, as well as “L’elisir d’amore” and “Káťa Kabanová” at Teatro Municipal de Santiago.

In 2014, she began her vocal training with María Soledad Díaz in Santiago (Chile), later continuing in Germany with Marcela de Loa (Freiburg im Breisgau).

Her Dutch debut included acting mentorship for “Dido & Aeneas” at the Amsterdam Conservatory (2014), and a lead role in “Le Bal Masqué”, a theatrical version of Francis Poulenc’s cantata, at the National Summer Youth Orchestra Festival (2015).

She moved definitly to the Netherlands in 2017, where she has since been actively involved in projects combining music and theatre.

In 2019, she created the soundscape for the silent film The Fall of Osen, presented at the Sound of Silence Festival in The Hague.
In 2021, she performed as an actress and singer in “Crossing Borders” at the Alte Musik Fest Friedenau in Berlin.

In 2024, she collaborated with Q Ensemble Berlin on “Dysphoria”, presented in Berlin and at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, where she portrayed the mother.

Nathalia is currently the vocalist for two musical bands: the Latin rock/ska group “La Roska” and the Latin American folk ensemble “Temporal”.

In 2025, she joins THEREDBOX Projects as the leading performer in FEMME FATALE.
