Femme Fatale
The influence of women throughout History
Our journey begins with Lilith, who defied the boundaries of biblical paradise by leaving her husband Adam, demanding equality and rebelling against her God. This act of defiance sets the stage for a historical exploration of women who have followed in her footsteps, sparking anger, war, social change, admiration and unbridled passion across the world and through the ages.
From antiquity to the present day, women have constantly changed their faces, their nationality, their ethnicity, their background, their geography, their social status and even their professions. Despite these variations, they have always been at the centre of important historical events, earning a reputation as catalysts of change.
A woman can turn into a demon, a danger, a beautiful irresistible, a fearless comedian, a bank employee or a pop star.
So… what’s a “femme fatale”?
Women’s actions are often met with resistance, not only from men, but also from other women.
Throughout History, women have navigated complex relationships and rivalries, proving to be formidable forces in their own right.
This project explores the lives and impact of these ‘femmes fatales’ and how they have shaped and reshaped the world around them.
